In the year 2000

I'm loving these images from early 20th-century French cigarette cartons. Like so many things, it's sometimes a shame that the future we live in doesn't align to the visions from the past! I'm especially sad that here in Brooklyn I can't take a whale bus across the East River when I'm going into Manhattan. Time to keep dreaming.

Wow! As a teacher, I'd have loved having one of those books-to-brains machines.

As a past student, I would have loved one of those books to brain machines too. Would make studying a thing of the past.
