Archival Photography: The Clampette

In my stocking this past Christmas came a happy little thing of forged aluminum - the Clampette!

It's a tiny camera fitting that can clamp onto just about anything - ideal for the time-lapse aficionado. Great packaging, great tool, made in the USA. Can't go wrong. Go check out High Sierra Mfg.

This is amazing and I've been looking at a couple things similar to this. Just bought one; thank you for mentioning it!

This is my all-time favorite flexible and portable tripod:

Works like a traditional tripod but also has a nice wide and long-enough velcro strip to wrap around different objects or branches and such. The velcro strip also keeps the legs folded when unused. Lightweight but strong. Awesome device and design.
