From this selection, I'm sorry to see Filson discontinue their original line of merino socks. The newer models are perfectly functional but incorporate a techno-knit grid pattern that's visible above the shoe line (if you wear loafers or oxfords).

Check out the Swanndri hunting cap and sweaters on Sierra Trading as well, nice design, made in China however. For a good winter hat made in the states, you'd be hard-pressed to beat Stormy Kromer. Just bought two, very well-made, looking to purchase two more. I ordered a size up, though others will tell you the sizing is spot on..
