My name is Daniel Wakefield Pasley. I live in portland oregon. I do some work with Vanilla Bicycles and Rapha Roadwear. I would love to talk with you about a few of the projects that I'm currently working on. Could we talk sometime. A japanese bag (similar to the Berthoud bags) you featured on you site caught my attention. Your perspecitive and interests are wonderful. Word up.
Sure. Send me an email. I'd love to see what sort of bag designs you're cooking up. Rapha stuff is pretty promising though they need to develop more woolens and womenswear (fewer asymmetrical zippers!). I have a Vanilla fixie on order. Perhaps you could speak to someone about accelerating that waitlist!?
You work this angle LL maybe this could get you two up to PDX sooner then later.
I also love this idea of thrift store ancestors. Collecting fashion ideas from the past is always a good idea.
