Shopping from Cabela's, Summer 1980


Cabela's is one of the biggest outdoor suppliers in the country. Like LL Bean, their catalog still holds some gems, but it's their old offerings that are really attractive for being short and sweet.

Oh, man. Those crepe soled moccasins are amazing. Wonder if they were made in the US? Only 35 bucks!

I used to wear the Duofold version of those timberline shirts as a kid. If you're thinking of your next archival revival, how about those? I'd pay $100 for one right now. Duofold stopped making the wool/cotton double layer henleys about 15 years ago...I still have one that hasn't been shredded.
